Prayer is powerful.
What a blessing and privilege it is to carry everything to God in prayer! Are you being called to pray for Every Orphan’s Hope? Here are some ways to lift us up in prayer:
-
PRAY FOR OUR ORPHANS
- Pray for their health…that God will nourish their bodies with good food and clean drinking water.
- Pray that they will develop a strong bond with their mama.
- Pray that the Lord will protect them from any type of neglect or rejection from their peers.
- Pray that they will work hard and excel in their academic pursuits.
- Pray that they would come to know and trust the Lord as their Savior.
- Pray that they will walk with the Lord daily, despite their circumstances, and experience His grace and love in a real and personal way.
-
PRAY FOR OUR MAMA’S
- Pray that their faith is not shaken, despite the loss that they have endured.
- Pray for their health…that they may have the energy and strength to care for their children and for themselves.
- Pray that the Lord speaks through them as they guide, instruct, discipline and encourage their children.
- Pray that the Lord uses them as His vessel to bring their children to salvation.
-
PRAY FOR THE LOCAL CHURCHES & COMMUNITIES
- Pray that the local churches and communities in Zambia become advocates for the children and mama’s and support them in every possible way…physically, emotionally, financially and spiritually.
- Pray that the local churches and communities act as a spiritual shield to protect the children and mama’s from worldly distractions that may lead them astray.
- Pray that the local churches and communities educate the public about the devastating effects from the AIDS pandemic.
-
PRAY FOR OUR SPONSORS (INCLUDING YOU!)
- Pray that our sponsors will be personally invested in the life of their child…that they will fervently pray for their child, communicate with their child via hand-written letters, share updates about their child on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, and financially commit to supporting their child.
- Pray that our sponsors will spread the Word of God…to “defend the cause of the fatherless” and “plead the case of the widow” (Isaiah 1:17).
- Pray that you will continually be encouraged to join us in this great cause…and may you reap what you sow!
…In Jesus’ Name
