While Mama Josephine’s passing was unexpected, we know she is face-to-face with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today and that she has received the reward of her steadfast faith in Him.
Josephine suffered a massive stroke on November 29, 2014 and CT scans revealed substantial trauma to the right side of her brain. Her entire left side was paralyzed. Staff was preparing to transport her to a hospice care center when she passed away peacefully in her hospital bed.
Josephine left behind four biological children, including Nelly and Emmanuel who lived with her in My Father’s House Orphan Homes. She also left behind five orphans she had been raising as her own since joining Every Orphan’s Hope in December 2004: Stanley, Lubasi, Grace, Helen and Lydia.
Josephine was so appreciative to be serving at Every Orphan’s Hope, she once told us,”When I die, I know Emmanuel and Nelly will have someone else to look after them. So what I can do is give them the utmost love that I can at this time.”
“But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.”
