Since I was little, all I have ever wanted to do is love Jesus and love babies.

From playing family with my little brother, to babysitting, to serving in children’s ministry at my church, the Lord gently cultivated in me a deep love and joy for ministering to His children. Little did I know the role Every Orphan’s Hope would one day play in my life.

I remember taping a picture of the child my family sponsored through Every Orphan’s Hope above my school desk. I prayed for her, wrote her letters, and learned about God’s heart for the orphaned and widowed—and the importance of caring for them. Ten years later, I went on my first mission trip with EOH and met the girl who had grown up alongside me. I experienced firsthand the incredible impact that prayer, faithful support, and sharing the light of Jesus can have on a life. Since that trip, I have felt continually drawn back to Zambia and the mission of Every Orphan’s Hope.

My walk with the Lord has been marked by overwhelming joy in His faithfulness. The little girl who once spoon-fed her baby brother could have never imagined the Lord inviting her to serve and love vulnerable and orphaned children in Zambia. I am continually amazed that I get to witness the Lord at work and be invited into His kingdom mission—equipping and empowering teams to share the gospel of truth, faith, hope, and love.

Joyfully following the Lord, I am trusting Him as I step into a season of raising support as a U.S.-based missionary to Zambia. The funds raised will allow me to serve as a missionary in the role of Mission Trip Coordinator with Every Orphan’s Hope.

I invite you to partner with Every Orphan’s Hope as I serve in sharing the love and joy of Jesus.
