Building Brighter Futures After School

Just twelve months ago, we were praying for a solution to a growing problem. Today, the Afterschool Academy stands as an example of God’s faithfulness and your generosity.

Government schools in Zambia continue to face severe challenges, including overcrowding, limited hours, and a lack of resources. Many children, including those in our care, were falling behind. But when we saw the need, we acted in faith.

God provided. Through the gifts of compassionate supporters, we were able to build an Afterschool Academy and staff it with teachers who are passionate about helping children succeed. Every weekday, our kids receive extra academic support that is already making a difference.

“Our children are improving in their literacy and reading skills,” Abigail, our Family Homes Manager, shared. “Some have made phenomenal progress. It’s such a joy to witness.”

This space has become more than a school. It is a place of hope, learning, and growth for children and staff alike.
