238 Days in Care
In February 2024, a bewildered two-year-old boy, whom we’ll call David, arrived at the Baby Homes. His young mother was struggling on the streets, and while she received care, David needed a safe place to stay. For 238 days, Mama Alice lovingly cared for him day and night, ensuring that when the time came for him to be reunited with his biological family, little David was both physically and emotionally prepared. Working alongside Zambia Social Welfare, our team successfully reunited David with his grandmother. For the next three years, we will continue to support them with regular visits, providing food, and connecting them to local church and government resources while sharing the light of Christ in their home.
