Our Social Workers

Champions for Zambia’s Children

Every Orphan’s Hope’s social work team dives headfirst into the demanding world of social work in Zambia. These dedicated individuals act as guardian angels, tailoring their approach to meet the unique needs of each child entrusted to their care.

Tailored Care and Fierce Advocacy

From conducting home visits and tracking down relatives to securing vital medical care and therapy, the social work team prioritizes achieving the best possible outcome for every child. In courtrooms, they transform into fearless advocates, passionately fighting for the child’s rights.

A Steady Hand in Difficult Times

Social work in Zambia is difficult. During challenging moments, these social workers offer a steady hand – a safe space for the child to express their emotions and navigate difficult situations. Their impact extends beyond immediate needs; they meticulously document each child’s journey, creating a detailed record that informs future care plans and ensures every detail is accounted for.

Collaboration is Key

The workload is substantial, with each social worker overseeing over 20 active cases and several post-placement situations simultaneously. Collaboration is crucial – the team constantly communicates, ensuring a unified approach and consistent support for each child.

A Constant Source of Love and Support

Through their tireless efforts, this dedicated team becomes a constant source of love and support, a powerful reminder to each child – you are not alone.
