Catherine’s Background

Catherine grew up in the EOH Family Homes in Chongwe. This nurturing environment provided her with the stability and encouragement she needed. Through the support of Every Orphan’s Hope, she has been able to pursue her education and career aspirations. Recently, she completed a general hospitality certificate from Lusaka Business Technical College. This achievement marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

Gaining Practical Experience

Currently, Catherine is interning at the Kapingila Guest House. This renowned establishment hosted our mission teams in June. Her internship is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in her field. We all had the wonderful opportunity to see Catherine in action. She showcased her skills and dedication as she practiced all aspects of service and hospitality. She even helped cook dinner for the teams, impressing everyone with her culinary talents and warm hospitality.

Support from Every Orphan’s Hope

The Young Adults program of Every Orphan’s Hope has been instrumental in Catherine’s journey. It is through this program that Catherine, an orphaned girl in Zambia, pursues her dream of working in hospitality. The program provides not only educational opportunities but also the emotional and spiritual support that young adults like Catherine need to thrive.
