Reunited in Chongwe
The journey from Baby Homes to Family Homes isn’t just a transition—it’s often a reunion. Mama Ruth’s family is a perfect example, with five of her seven children moving from the Baby Homes. Their stories are woven together in a tapestry of love and shared memories. Some had the same Mamas, some grew up together, and some shared overlapping stays. Because of these bonds, even when a child can’t return to biological relatives, they still go “home” to familiarity and shared history, contributing to the deep sense of belonging every child needs.
