Innovative Trauma-Informed Orphan Care

Trauma-informed orphan care is at the heart of Every Orphan’s Hope. Consequently, this shapes our commitment to nurturing healing and wholeness within our ministry family. Fueled by the insights from the Thrive Assessment, we’re thrilled to report about our trauma-informed care program. We’re tearing down barriers to emotional well-being by making counseling and play therapy readily available throughout the ministry. As a result, this empowers our babies, school-aged children, and young adults. Therefore, they can explore their past trauma in a safe and supportive space, fostering resilience and growth.

Empowering Through Training and Therapy

Recognizing that the mamas provide the compassionate and empathetic heart for their families, we’ll host quarterly trauma-informed care training designed just for them. Additionally, equipping the mamas with these tools will empower them to navigate their own journeys towards healing. Furthermore, this will also foster trauma-informed discipline practices within their homes. This initiative ensures that trauma-informed orphan care extends beyond immediate therapy sessions. Consequently, it creates a nurturing environment for ongoing support and growth.

Community Underpinning and Future Growth

This next level of care is only possible thanks to the generous support of our faithful donors. Thus, their contributions enable us to continue providing essential resources and support.
