In the fall of 2004, a young orphaned girl named Thoko moved into the first EOH Family Home in Lusaka. She had no mother or father to shepherd her young life – but God, a father to the fatherless, remained faithful to her.
Through love of her new Mama, and the care from ministry supporters, her relationship with Jesus grew into a deep, Christ grew into support from she grew into a deep and active bond that continues today.
In 2017, Thoko completed her diploma in journalism. She now serves as a lieutenant in the Zambian National Service as a photojournalist.
In 2021, she married, and in 2022, she and her husband welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Elmo! Thoko’s story is an example of the generational impact God is making in Zambia through EOH!
